| Doug joined the communications staff at NATCA's Washington, D.C., national office in 2000, first as media relations manager and then becoming the director of the department in 2006 where he continues to serve as one of the organization's lead spokespersons. Before that, Doug worked in the print journalism field for over a decade, as a reporter, copy editor and page designer at several newspapers including the Detroit Free Press, The Palm Beach Post and The Bakersfield Californian. Doug lives in Ellicott City, Md., with his wife, two children and yellow labrador retriever, enjoying the air traffic overhead to and from BWI Airport. |

Sarah joined the communications staff at NATCA’s national office in August 2011 after working as a legislative assistant for Alcalde & Fay, an Arlington-based government relations and public affairs firm. Prior to that Sarah was busy interning with a New York City literary agent, writing for her college paper, earning an honors degree in Journalism & Media Studies and playing varsity field hockey for Rutgers University. She lives in Pentagon City, Va., and is training for her next half-marathon.
